Just curious, should I load up on DCI to maximize my counterattacks or have no DCI? Or does it not matter?

Maximize counterattacks?

It's based on parry chance (parring + bushido), not on DCI ^^

I think you misunderstood his question.
Counter Attack ~ 5 Mana ~ 40 Bushido ~ (Stance) ~ Duration 40s or next successful parry
So is HCI calculated BEFORE or AFTER parry? Thats what he's asking.
According to Stratics (
) order of combat is:
1) Speed
2) Chance to Hit (this would be DCI)
3) Chance to Block (this would be Parry)
4-9) damage stuff...
So according to this, to maximize your counter attacks you would want MORE attacks to get past your defenses. Lower DCI would seem to increase your opponents chances to hit, which would then increase your parry attempts. Increased parry attempts would mean more counter attacks.
Now, I don't know that I would want to toss out all my HCI just to Counter Attack more LOL.
