Max Stats

Hello All,
Here's my problem. I've eaten a +25 stat scroll on a 10 year account and I'm at 250 instead of the 255 max. I'm assuming it didn't tack on top of my +5 6 month bonus.

Is there a way to fix this so I'm hitting the actual cap? Can GM's do this?

Is that character you've eaten the scroll with already 6 months old? Because concerning the +5 stats it's not the overall account age, but the age of the character that counts.

Mostly not true
when you create a new char on an old account it does not have the 6 month gift but when you log on the next time you get the 6 month 5 skill bump window that poops up and then you get the 5 skill points for 6 months

Used to be a long time ago that if you took the +5 bonus before you ate the scroll your cap would be 250. But this was when +5 stat was only offered during AoS. I have no idea if this is still true but I have taken caution not to get the +5 buff until I ate the scroll.

This worked out nice as I had most of my AoS gifts available when they gave the +5 buff to everyone. So I was able to accept the +5 skill buff and get the +5 stat buff too.

how do you see your cap? I have some that's eaten a scroll & some that haven't.
I think someone told me awhile back, but i forgot (brain damage - irl). Except that I was wet, I forgot I had just gotten out of the shower the other day & was fixin to get back in, duh

Drag your health bar off your char (in 2D) then dbl click your health bar to access Character Status. There is a symbol that looks like an open book with a number "2XX" (225-255). If you have the +5 AOS bonus then your max possible is 255 w/ a +25 power scroll applied; if you don't have the AOS bonus then your max is 250. If you have 225, or 230 (base +5 from AOS bonus), then odds are you never used a power scroll, and should thus begin with a +10, or is possible, a +25 (you need to eventually get a +25 because the scrolls do not stack, so it's kind of worthless to pursue anything but a +25 in the long run).
