[Fishing] Mastering the Bait?

Any good (or otherwise) results to report from using bait at particular skill levels? I have not had any success with bait cups but I am just at 106.x .. wondering if it is skill related for success.

I havent found them particularly useful. I don't think i've actually ever caught what i was using bait for while using the bait. Not sure what percentage the bait increases your chances by ... buy i'm guessing using bait takes you from something like 0.05 percent chance to catch the critter to 0.1 percent chance...

I think they make the biggest difference on the rarest fish.
