Master Soulstone

while digging through my junk this morning i discovered something......i have way to many soulstones and soul stone frags. just wondering if the powers that be would consider making a master soulstone. "could make it look pretty like a soulstone, maybe purple?" anyway it could work like a SOT or BOD book or something "just not look like another book". could let your store all your soulstones making it a tad easier to keep up with the horde of them we all have laying around.......might also keep people from losing them when they take breaks and things......what do yall think? has this been brought up before?

i dunno hun, when i use to do idocs id sometimes find 20 or more in one house. seems like such a waste when people lose them like that. if they had like a master storage for them they might be more apt to put them in their bank boxes

I would love this, I personally have about 40 soulstones between two accounts. I would be great if i could throw them into one and get a gump of some sort instead. Great idea @Dixie of Chesapeake

Great Idea!

Other Players come to my house and say " you really love green don't you".
But if you have the walls of your place lined with all those green soul stones what else can you do but decorate to blend with them.

I like to keep them handy, changing from one template to another sometimes has to be done in just a certain order, and it helps to see all the skills available at one time.

Also they do take up quite a bit of floor space, and are movement blockers.

alot of items would be nice to be able to store in other containers.

soul stones are one of those you like to keep in your bank box so u don't loose em when or if your house falls... they are so bulky. have to go in a bag anyways..

I WISH they were on a gump .. in which all your chars could access... since they are account bound anyways... and they did not exist.. in game. but of course some like the deco and ea/origin/broadsword would not make more cash on selling more stones when we loose em heh

I like the Master Soulstone idea.
Why not eliminate the need for tons of soulstones, use them to increase storage in an account bound "skill bank" that is persistent without an actual item. You just need something like a master soulstone to access the bank. So if houses drop or soulstones get lost the work put into the skills doesn't disappear. I'm always paranoid about the soulstones. Have the bank initially have one skill slot, then just use existing soulstones to increase the storage/including uploading any skills they contain. They can still be bought and sold, but instead of having a house full of these things, you just use them to increase the storage on the skill bank. If you loose the master soulstone, you just make/buy another and get access to your skill bank again. Seems a potential way to get rid of some lag.

If such thing would happen (I do not believe it will) I assume it would be implemented in the same way like those SoT and SoA books, which you can solely use in your house and not in your bank box, why ever this is.

just eliminate soulstones. 1 month to claim your skills on characters and then soulstones are deleted. we dont need them anymore since sots and alacrities and shard shields. it would encourage people with lots of stored skills to play more than one shard and be good for the game.

Aren't they like a 1st year vet reward? Shouldn't need to wait too long. But I don't have a problem with UO making more cash

Its a great idea...sadly iam told by the other board members thats the devs will be far to busy to work on any projects other than bug fixing and artwork...its a shame though would have been a great addition.
