If this is so true then it proves how EA can ruin a good company yet again. I know If I had a good solid gaming company and truly loved my business and EA came with a trillion dollars to buy it, I would choose to keep my company and try to earn those trillion dollars myself. Why ruin something I created by the hands of another but this is the nature of the beast in the business world.
Hopefully the ones that lost their jobs can jump into another division or another good solid company. I wish the best of luck and wish them the best.

According to GamesRadar's unnamed sources, BioWare San Francisco has reportedly been shut down as of today, resulting in the layoffs of 25-30 employees associated with the studio.
The studio formerly known as EA2D was responsible for the Dragon Age Legends Facebook game and the browser-based Mirror's Edge 2D. While it was focused on developing mobile and social games, Electronic Arts found that handling development in the area was too expensive and has shut down operations.
Our condolences to all those affected by this shutdown.
