Anyone else getting incredibly massive lag when customizing a house? I was just trying a new design on my place, and it's getting to the point where I take a step in any direction and then just sit here waiting for upwards of 30 seconds while the client updates that I have actually moved. Pretty sure it's not my connection or my (admittedly ****ty) computer, as I have no lag doing anything else in game or online like here or any other websites. Hell, I was even in the bottom of Hythloth last night marking some runes and wasn't lagging a bit in there with tons of crap targeting me and the screen constantly having to refresh with things coming on screen and going off screen.
If anyone knows, does the house item count have anything to do with it, by chance? Since everything is in the moving crate, plus from what I've heard, some Dev said once that a character basically carries the bank box info with them everywhere, could the extra amount of information between the total amount of items in the house added to the character's bank box be causing the lag or what? I would really hate to have to move everything (or even the majority) out of the house just to customize it...and if I do, I'm damned sure going to re-size it to get those extra couple of tiles on the sides I can't get since I have a rune library set up in the house.
If anyone can shed some light on this, it would be very much appreciated.
