Mark - How Long and What For?

So we get a system message telling us our shard is going down. We log out, and there's nothing anywhere telling us why. So what's the deal? What are we going down for and how long is it going to be for?

And not all shards not down either?

So far it only looks like a couple of shards are down.

And here I got my classwork done early. If I'd known the shard was going to go down I'd have played earlier and done classwork after the shard went down. Now I'm just twiddling my thumbs....
