[Price Check] Many items need wise eyes

So I have a lot of items I need a PC on.

the ones I'm mainly concerned with are the "magic weapons"
and the exceptional plate.

If you have any idea what any of these items are worth, please help me out !

I will venture to give you some prices :

[Exceptional] items - 4-5mil each
Double Exceptional Sash - around 200k.
Double Exceptional Runebook - around 200k, maybe more.
Longsword - 15-25gps, what a NPC would pay for it, no value.
Magic Weapons - I like them too, but never saw anyone paying for them, so i guess around 200k each.
Of real value in this community are the "Sewn by" items, especially since they are a set (common name). Should fetch you at least 10mil each if you find a passionate buyer.

Warning on your "magic" items. I would not display them or put them on a vendor if i was you. I'm pretty sure anyone even if item is on a vendor can use the Item ID skill even with 0 skill and it will take the "magic" off the tag of your item thus ruining it.

Yeah someone did that at last Rares fest on LS to a vendor.

Well, I don't know everything, in fact quite the contrary, but I'm puzzled here. I do not see why they should worth even a decent ammount of gold:
- ok, they are old and not spawning anymore, but they used to spawn on EVERY monster on every shard, and back when there were 200k people hunting....
- they posess no specials, no color, no mods, they are basic craftables (look the same) with just the "magic" word in the name.
- i tend to put them in the same group of items with the fel and tram moonstones.
- they have the issue mentioned above which makes them hard to sell and maybe impossible to display.

I told you i like them as they remind me of old times, but i have a bunch of them, threw away 10 times more and I really won't pay a dime for one.
If anyone would value them for some reason, please come forward, I would be interested to learn that too.

In addition, the practice weapons worth today 100-200k each except for what the market decided it's the rarest of all : the battle axe. I think practice weapons were less in numbers than the "magic" items. Still, if you somehow find that among the "magic" weapons there is one very rare...maybe that would worth a few mils....still have to find the right buyer

the reason I thought they were worth something is because I thought a patch wiped them out. I've never seen "a magic weapon" before.

Ok im not too sure about any patch that would have wiped them out but the reason you dont see them anymore is what i mentioned above. I have a few "magic" weapons still but they just sit in a chest due to again the reason above. Even if you have the weapon equiped someone can still item id it and it will poof the "magic" off of it. So for those reasons i dont think many people if any collect them anymore. But hey maybe there is someone out there that does so if you are selling them good luck.

What you are saying about undead slayers was indeed a patch that affected weapons that were already IDed. So silver weapons went undead slayers and you cannot find any silver weapons in game anymore. Same went for force/power/vanquishing weapons turned them into damage increase %. And so on. A "magic" weapon is an old weapon that was not yet IDed. But once IDed it will never go back to old "prepatch" characteristics. It will just show regular mods. So if it has any value, it holds it until somone IDes it then goes 100% regular item.

You understand now why BigEv keeps his hidden in a chest (I do the same).
You have to understand that usually people pay to get an item to display it/brag about it, not keep it hidden in a dungeon.
And they are not quite so rare. I have like 3-4 atm, and I'm sure i threw way more than 30 others in the trashcan.

You can copy a character with these weapons to test shard and ID them there, see what happens

Magic weapons are worth about 100-200k in my opinion. Hard to sell because item id can make them worthless and can be done to the weapon on a vendor, equipped, trade window and locked down in a home. So while they are old and no longer spawn, they are difficult to display. Honestly, there are quite a few magic weapons out there, but most are stuck deep in containers.
