Make 4 Characters from These Skills

As a follow up to my previous post, I am pretty much satisfied with my Necromancer, and Paladin.

I now have about 21 skills which I want to use on 4 characters. I will go with 7 x 100 mostly.

Lothgar (Crafter)
Blacksmithing
Magery
Lumberjacking
Carpentry
Arms Lore
Tinkering
Tailoring

This is where it gets tricky. I have 14 skills I want to use on three remaining characters. But how. I want a Treasure Hunter, Mage, Bard and a Gargoyle who can Imbue..

Meditation
Magery
Eval Intelligence
Inscription
Resist Spells
Musicianship
Provocation
Discordance
Cartography
Lockpicking
Mining
Imbueing
Mysticism
Focus

I have yet to put together anything useful. The more research I do the worse it gets.

I was thinking of this for a Bard/Treasure Hunter

Musicianship
Provocation
Discordance
Cartography
Lockpicking
Mining
XXX Skill

However, with room for only one more skill, it would need to be Magery for teleporting and invisibility, etc. But with magery, dont I need some sort of Focus or Meditation? If not, then with high enough Magery, do I need BOTH Discordance AND Provoke? But if I get Mysticism, I wont be able to teleport anywhere and still wont have Focus or Med!

Here were my thoughts on my Mage:

Meditation
Magery
Eval Intelligence
Inscription
Resist Spells

Off to a great start. Spell Resist is non negotiable BTW. I like it. But what now?

Finally, my Gargoyle:

Imbueing
Mysticism
Focus

So many thoughts. What if I delete my beloved Mage and re-make him as a Gargoyle?

Meditation
Magery
Eval Intelligence
Inscription
Resist Spells
Imbueing
Mysticism

On your T-hunter, couldn't you use cartography on all your maps then stone the skill off and that would allow you to add magery and eval? Might ask in the T-hunter forum about using gm music/provo/discord vs 120 in those skills. You can probably get away with not having med or focus on the char as long as you have 40 lmc and decent MR on the suit, since for the most part your just tossing out EV's and then using disco and provo, with an invis thrown if they target you.

As far as the mystic/mage/scribe/imbue char, while imbuing makes mystic spells stronger, so does focus, and if you have stones available, I would just go with focus and swap the skills when I wanted to imbue or unravel something.

I think you can drop provo from your treasure hunter and add mage/med. Idea would be disco then cast ev, so don't need eval. You may be able to keep provo by using high mana regen, lower mana cost, and +med/focus on your armour and having no med skill. By using provo, you'll need fewer evs so it may work.

For your mage, add myst/focus or myst/imbuing. Both of these compliment mysticism. Another choice would be spellweaving which I think is a fun skill.

I missed the last part of your post. That is my gargoyle template, but instead of inscription, I am running 6x120. You'll want to eventually 120 imbuing and myst at the least me thinks.

Heh, kell is faster typer than me. You can do level 5 maps with 100 bard skills, but you'll want 120 for level 6 and 7. Id suggest using skill points on jewelry since it's a crowded enough template. Theres also mark of travesty with +10 music/disco or music/provo. They are pricey though.

Imbuing is a standalone skill.
Sure you can use it on a Mystic as a replacement for Focus, but you would loose the regenerations provided by Focus. And having permanently both Focus and Imbuing is just a waste.

The best imho is to just have a full dedicated soulstone for imbuing and put it on your garg just when you need it.

instead of trying to use all the skills separately why not just keep them in a group.

you are trying to over think things too much..
you really only need 4 to 5 characters total..

you need a human or elf dexxer with high dex and str < sampire
you need a gargoyle dexxer with high dex and str < thrower
you need an elf mage with high int and str < mage/eval/taming/etc
you need a gargoyle mage with high int and str < mystic/taming/imbuing/etc

the skills you can move around with soulstones as you see fit..
7 100s tho wont cut it, you need 120s specially in disco, music, mystic, focus, and all crafting skills that go to 120.

i group the mage skills for mages and the dexxer skills for dexxers and crafting skills go on whatever guy i want the armor named..
