Magincia Pet Vendors Questions

Do any of you use the Magincia pet vendors?

Are any expansions required?

I've been farming a lot of Cu's lately and was thinking maybe I could make some money on the pet vendors instead of leaving them in the cave or killing them. On my shard there are open spaces for vendors now.

Gothic or rustic theme pack.
They operate like vendors, you are charged a fee based on the total of the animals on the vendor.
There is an additional fee when a pet is sold.

I have them on several different servers.

Do these vendors sell? I was thinking to buy the expansion and try to rent one but im not sure It will be doable on atlantic... pet market looks so slow, i didn't even manage to sell a decent 69 intensity black cu at luna

Unless the fees have changed, if you look at what they charge weekly or daily for pets to sell, like a 15-20 M pet, and the pet stays unsold for a while you may not like the vendor idea. Depending on what prices you put on pets and how many, you may be paying lots of uo$, (like $20 M/week) for pets to just sit in there and NOT being sold, depending again on number of pets and what your prices are. Unless this has changed, which I doubt. We have been lamenting about this for a while for the Devs to make it less expensive, OR make the vendor charge its owner less, and change mostly at point of sale. Thats why lots of vendor slots are open everywhere including ATL. Market sadly is not too hot for pets somehow. I wish that someone please correct me, if the above info is not current or accurate..

Mostly they do not, or it is very spotty, and also not inexpensive at all. I have seen pets in ATL being on sale on vendors for 500 M, 600 M. (scrolled and 120'd bane/dreads). So the vendor owners must be very rich to be able to pay the fees for keeping those pets there.

Thank you @celticus that was exactly my biggest concern. Fees look out of control and in not the guy who can afford to let his pets sit in a golden stable. That's damn sad because tamers, at least when I left, were always super busy businessmen but now they look useless just like crafters

So to have 20m in weekly fees you would have to have 400m worth of pets on your vendor.

CAH has several vendors in New Mag Atlantic and they are rather successful vendors. Yes, sometimes slow but the profit exceeds the effort and vendor fees.

i have a vendor on chessy and I sell pets occasionally. I tend to keep random pets on my stall tho like I have rams, frost mites, dimetrosaurs things tamers may not know where to get or maybe to dangerous for their templates. I drop runes in luna to help get customers.

All of my frost drakes from the Krampus sold out. *shrug* Your mileage may vary.
When the tr-- er, the new healing pet comes out, I am going to put a bunch of less useful pets up for sale.
