Magic Resist Bonus Resists & Pet

Any particular reason why pets don't get the same bonus to resists from having higher magic resist? Would it really unbalance anything if they got a minimum resist boost up to 40 if you take the time to train up the resist skill?

Greater Dragons already have resists well into the high 80's and 90's.

There are many, many pets which have one or more resists less than 10, but all pets can be trained up to 100 resisting spells. Would be nice if all pets resists could receive the bonus.

I agree! It ought to apply to pets and animals. If they are getting the skill they ought to get the benefits.

I agree with having resist spells boost the pet resists. Having said that, they said they hope to do a pet overhaul some time after the new expansion. It will probably be after all the Steam stuff too, but it's on the radar at least. Keep this thread in mind for when that time comes.
