I was cleaning up my accounts and came across 50 "magic items' pieces and was wondering if there is a value to them. I am aware that people can item ID them and ruin them, but was just seeing if there was a value

Yes, players can identify and ruin them in a trade window, on a vendor, displayed or equipped so be careful. When I have seen them for sale, it is typically 50-100k. They have value and I know a number of collectors that have some in chests hoping that one day we can display them safely.
