does the magic dye tub trick still work?

Last I tried it, the magic dye tub nor did the magic pitch fork. It has been awhile since I tried to gain that way but it seems it went away about the same time as 8 x 8 training.

i did the tub trick for 3 sneeky gits all after 8x8 finished
but ther has to be another way
im at cap with items but would rather not have to use them
