Have you tried Harvester's Blade? It all that with one click

It’s the perfect time to work towards getting one. Usually I get 2-3 a month just by looking to see which monsters are unclaimed and killing one of each.

Plus, the Harvester's Blade nets you 10% more resources.

Being Human also gets you an additional +10% Resources from Skinning, which stacks with Harvester's Blade. Best place to get Feathers, is the Harpy's Nest to the NE of the Oaks spawn in Ilshenar.
