Mace Fighter

I am working up a melee character right now and had a couple questions.

Right now his skill layout will look like this when done

110 Swords
110 Parry
110 Bushido
100 Tactics
100 Anatomy
90 Healing
70 Chiv

Someday if I can ever afford them I will take the main three to 120.

So I was training on Earth Elems in Shame today and a Katrina's Crook dropped. Which is a really nice weapon except for the fact it is a crook, looks pretty dumb. However that got me thinking about taking up Macing instead of Swords. I have never had a Macer before though.

Is Macing a decent melee skill? I just do PvM. I never really seem to see many Macers.

I noticed that quite a few of the Mace weapons are made with skills other than Blacksmithing, so I am assume there is not runic available to make higher end Maces.

Also if I break down and use the Katrina's Crook can it be repaired? I read a couple post that all the Virtue weapons could not but it was from a long time ago.

Also what is a good stat layout for a Macer or a Swordsman for that matter. Right now I have 91 Str, 90 Dex, and 49 Int. I tried to put on a War Hammer and could not because I don't have the 95 str requirement.

Sorry keep thinking of more questions I have. Is Bushido really worth it? I keep reading about it and some say yes others say no. I want to be able to stand toe to toe with some higher end Mobs, Miasma, etc.. I guess I am just thinking without Bushido I can throw on a Shield and pick up resists spells instead.

Mace is great melee skill.
Mace is to cut down stamina with damage.
It look like hit attack diffence.
Blackstaff was only from monster before imbuing introduced.
Weapon(tessen and nunchaku) that use feint are not too good.
But you have good use best skill weapon of leafblade,I recommend mace.
My 2 sampire(champion spwan and peerless boss) changed sword to mace.
I am satisfied with mace.
I do not have a mind to change to sword&fencing.
Melee weapon skill is a feature respectively, and choose your favorite one, please.


Bushido is related to the damage cap.
The following three becomes max damege.
use honor+slayer weapon
use honor+enemy of one
slayer weapon +enemy of one
Bushido is effective for monster without slayer.
And when Feint is used,busido is necessary for 50over.
Moreover, it takes part in the reduction of special abillity.
Bushido is good skill for warrier.
