I believe a new steam account could be required as there is no discount on the main SotA website and you can only buy one copy of the game on Steam (unless you gift it).

That being said, i'ts worth setting up a second Steam account to take advantage of the offer..........and you can log into any SotA account though the game even if it's launched via Steam.
