Lumberjacking Question

I can't seem to find any info on the skill level needed to turn different kinds of logs into boards.

I have been getting oak logs for some time now but when I try to turn them into boards it tells me I don't have the knowledge to work this wood.

I am at 72 skill in lumberjacking.

Does anyone have a chart or something that tells what skill levels are needed to work different kinds of wood?????

You need the carpentry skill to turn logs into boards the same amount of skill you need to harvest logs with LJ.

There are 7 types of lumber that can be harvested from trees:

Wood Plain - Skill Required: --
Oak Wood - Skill Required: 65
Ash Wood - Skill Required: 80
Yew Wood - Skill Required: 95
Heartwood Wood - Skill Required: 100
Bloodwood Wood - Skill Required: 100
Frostwood Wood - Skill Required: 100

Aaaahhhh. Thank you, Zodiac. That explains why my LJ can turn the regular wood to boards even though he has no carpentry. Thank the powers that be for commodity deeds, lol. Thank you so much
