Sugar I know your all for people making their own way in the game ... thats fine but if you havent read most of whats in this post the VAST majority of us cant find much wood types above heartwood.
Frostwood is non exsistant outside the reward treestump, and unless you got a few dozen of them cranking out frostwood everyday making anything with that type of wood is out of the question.
I alone have over 25 deeds of 60k each regular wood in the last 12 months of chopping my tush off looking for that damn tree.
I dont have much in bloodwood ether for all that chopping.
I did have 1 frostwood for exactly a hand full of chops before it changed mid swing to oak.... I was angry it took me ages to find and loose in a few chops!
Yes I use a grid pattern to look for it and I have tried all over the different faccits - From Fel to Tram to TerMur, Malas, Tokuno... might I add I have even chopped in citys looking for the damn tree.
Hen dear I dont want a hand out of a dev making me a frostwood tree just for my chopping like your suguestion just the tool to help get a better yeald of the top wood.
Prospector tool for upgrading the tree to next wood and the possible upping of the % of that wood will be nice.
