Lumberjack Carpenter leaving boxes mess

Is there a plan for my lumberjack/carpenter to not destroy the beautiful landscape with boxes full of crafted items every tenth tree or so? Feel like a litterbug, but the run to town to dump into a trash barrel is a bit of a run.

I had the same problem when I was working up those skills. The easiest solution I found was to buy those tiny little pouches from the provisioner. You can craft your items right inside, then stick them behind a tree when you're done. They're so small, no one ever sees them.

craft the item, destroy it with an axe .... keys from lockable items will accumulate in your pack. go to a town and sell at the provisioner for a gp each. it ain't much, but what the heck.

If you have UOAssist, you can use the Sell agent to sell most of the stuff your carpenter makes back to either a blacksmith or a carpenter NPC. After my carpenters get to the point where they can make stuff to sell to an NPC, I always work the skill at the bank in Luna using lumber in the character's bankbox and sell the items to the NPCs near the bank. It's a nice way to make some extra gold too and I doubt that the sawing and hammering bothers anyone else......they're all AFK.

You could find out which items craftable that you can gain skill from are donatable to the library collections, then run back later, picking up the boxes of items, and take them to donate.
