Lucky Bracelet vs. Ornament of the Magician

Hi,

Since it came out, I have always wanted the ornament of the magician, but it has been out of my price range. I also fear I can't really stand doing Doom repeatedly in hopes of getting the ornament. I am using a cursed one currently, but I dislike having to worry about it constantly. So here's my question:

Is it possible to trade with another player the lucky bracelet (150 luck ones offered) for the ornament? It costs 150,000 points and is really nice, but I'd give it up for the ornament. In fact, I would trade it and the ring both for the ornament if that would be fair. But that's the question: Is that a good deal? Would anyone actually go for such a trade? If not, what would it take? For example, both jewelry items and how much money? Thank you in advance for your help.

There is no real objective pricing in UO.

It's all about preference, and your needs at the moment.

However....On LS? Points can go for as low as 40 gold per point. That gives the luck bracelet an approximate gold value of 6 million, as opposed to 12 to 25 million for the Ornament.

You might be able to trade an entire luck set for an Orni.

Post on your shard's board and see. Like I said, prices in UO are more about the customer's needs of the moment and his or her preferences than anything else.

If you really need an orni and the only one you can find is for twice the market value? You might be tempted to pay double for it.

Thank you very much, Galen. The price for the Ornament is in the 12 to 25 million range??? I thought it was like 40 million? I'll post on the shard specific board to see. I tried to find out in the game but I can't get a single response from anybody at the bank...just a lot of stares.

12m on Europa vendors for orny. You can get them for 11m off players though.

The luck ring set is nice but with all the points recently handed out no one is sure of the value (in gold) anymore. There is a constant stream of people spamming them for sale at the bank - never a good thing for gold value,

actually between the 2... the bracelet on its own is useless, the orny is better. (my opinion) when you use the brace and ring in the combo, it becomes better.
