does a luck suit play any role in fishing?

nay, it will only buff loot from random spawn, and then only sometimes.

I dont see the point in luck suits for fishing or Thunting, I use honor, which boosts your luck, and also a luck statue i keep in my pack. It boosts it enough without having to worry about the hassle of swapping suits in the middle of a battle with a spawn on either fishing or thunting.

Unless you are one of the lucky ones with a kick %&* luck suit that also has every other mod your tempelate requires, dont worry bout it at.
