Luck and Fishing?

Any thoughts on luck and fishing?
Far as I knew when I tried fishing in the past, luck in gear work by player-Fel luck etc. affect only the fished up treasure chests. Mib frequency, and Mib contents (?ASOS etc). Were not affected by luck.
Any thoughts on luck and fishing? Ty in advance..(could not find . info on google, uo.com etc.)

I don't know if it helps or not I've been told by a few people it helps with getting rare and legendary fish but I cant confirm this. I know I made a couple 130+ luck fishing poles and they seem to sell pretty decent.

You can use runics to craft, and probably reforge, fishing poles. I personally use one with +STR, +med, and Spell channeling on my fisher
