That's why I encourage everyone to page and make the devs actually police chat for once. PvP on LS is the best it has been in this whole game in the past 2 years. My guild came from the west coast just to partake in the action. PvP needs to be policed because if it isn't LS will eventually fade away. If we want new blood in pvp, we need to rid it of the toxic behavior a small amount of people are encouraging.

SO, you want to PVP on LS?? Then do your PVP chat in a "selected" channel. WTF< your here to PVP, chat between yourselves and keep it real. The REAL PVPer's will be in that channel, all the wanna be **** talkers will be in GENERAL chat.

@jopromol Let me talk to my guildies and see what will work best. Hard thing about weekends is everyone's usually doin stuff. 15 years ago I was out getting into trouble with my friends on the weekends, now I'm married doing the whole bed bath and beyond thing...Ya feel?! I want the fight to be massive, Door/FNF/UoF/151/NBD and anyone else. @Zuckuss you guys on LS yet? I'll have an answer hopefully by tomorrow so we can plan it.
@ the gen chat issues. We could switch channels, but that still will allow the toxic behavior to happen. I understand not letting it bleed through to the general public not concerned at all about pvp, but the toxic players will still be hurting PvP. Nothing worse than discouraging someone from PvP when they just started...

i find it hypocrital that some people relish the fact that there is no policing of game mechanics / third party programs, but expect the dev team to be concerned with language which can be turned off and doesnt effect the game (especially if you turn it off)

I don't think language is the issue. Some people go out of their way to harass other pvpers by use of personal information, personal attacks, personal insults above and beyond that standard "LOL you suxxorz noob". I know more about some peoples personal lives just by reading after battle crap talking then I ever wanted to know. Someone pushing play on a program is bad... But someone telling the world that "roflstompers xxx123" is a divorced man, who lost his kid, and suffers from random heroine addiction, well that's a little over the top. It might not even be true... but someone spewing that about a person is toxic behavior that does kill the pvp community.
Might be time to re-activate. What's the PVP situation on Pacific right now? Anyone know? Maybe send a toon over to LS.

There hasn't been any action on pac for about a year now.

There was more than a few instances of this when I visited. I won't go into details of the conversation, but it was enough to make me cringe and i like to dish it out as much as the next guy.
Since the last instance I havent been back, that's not something I want to be a part of. I'm more than happy to wait for the occasional fight on Great Lakes.

I agree i think some things that can be said is far worse than something im sure 90%plus use to train, farm, etc with. UO is a game peoples personal life > UO. People doesn't need to use personal attacks or take it too far. With that said hope its a fun fight

Pacs Dead and will continue to be dead. Along with all the WC shards.
I ping 75-80 on LS and Atl with WTFast so there really isn't any issues unless you get into mage dueling. Then it gets hard to fizzle first and second level spells at time.
