Hi there, Im a new player and made a few mistake in my skill choices, Im already quite far into alchemy (68%) and wouldnt want to start a whole char again.
How long does skill and attribute lowering take? What can be done to speed it up? Skills and attribute Im attemping to lower are:

Taste ID 25%
Swordsmanship 29%
Meditation 25%
Tailoring 45%
Musicianship 55% (used for Dex gain)
Intelligence 77

Thanks :gee:

You can use a soul stone and remove the skill right away. I would suggest saving it on the soul stone in case you ever want to make a potion maker. Pretty good money maker, lots of people buy GM potions.

They are one of rewards using the rewards tokens. You can buy them ingame or from EA.

Where can I find such stones?
There are 2 kinds of SS: Fragment Soulstones (5 uses) and Full Soulstones (unlimited uses). Both SSs come as a token. When you click the token it turns into the actual SS and binds to the account that clicked it (only chars on that account can use it). So if you buy from a vendor, buy only tokens. Fragments run around 300-350k and Full about 7-8 mil.

Both SS's can be used to completely delete a skill. Simply load the skill onto the SS and then Use the Delete option. This doesn't consume any of the Frag's uses and there is no timer.

SSs can take a skill and return a skill once every 24 hrs.

Very handy little tools for storing, transferring and deleting skills!

Hi Birdsun, if i understand you correctly you are training Alchemy and wish the other skills to go down?
Well dont panic, you have 700 skill points to play with for each character.
A skill wont drop until you hit the 700 point limit, then and only then any skill that has the little arrow pointing downwards will start to drop.
So if you no longer want a skill then just point the arrow downwards and it will not gain anymore and will start dropping once you hit the 700 point limit.

As a new player i would imagine that buying a soulstone is out of your reach until you have gathered some gold, so i would just concentrate on gaining your alchemy skill.
You can start another 4 characters on your one account, maybe you should start a paladin sword/fence or macing char and take him/her to a dungeon and bash some monsters for gold and skill gains.
What shard do you play on? maybe one of us could help you out with some armour and stuff.
Let us know.
