I love having, going to, taking part in events. I do not need items or great rewards BBUUUTT

can we please have the abillity to shut off (so and so) is poisoned, speel casting words, freindly corpses, etc.

My journal last night scrolled so fast there was NO way to read it and finding corpses was at the least difficult. I do use CTRL SHift, and with UO Assist show corpse names so ther is a small amount of time when somnthing dies i get its tag right away, BUT this is just TOO much overlaod.

I get my share of items, I was one of the few to get Vampires Blood.

BUT htere is no need when i hit CTRL SHFT that I see 20 - 30 freindly corpse name, or when an area spell is cast that i see everyones you are poisoned message.

Let alone al the spell words. Especially when they are talking/ casting over GM/EM talkings.

One thing you can do on the classic client is use the ignore feature. When you find someone irritating just put them on ignore and then after the event close out UO and then go into the UO folder and find a txt file labeled ignore and open it and clear all the names and save the file and then when you re-open UO your ignore list will be empty again.

Also a super handy way to find & recoup your corpse in a cluster-mess is to set up a macro from the Standard Macro Options page for the Action [AllNames]. Your corpse location {corpse of weins201} will show in bright green; and, you can dbl click on the resulting green type on screen to quickly gather your belongings. I'd been enlightened to that handy dandy little trick during the Magincia invasion and luved it ever since - have it set on the key [n] for all chars.
