Lost my 10 year old White Wyrm =(

I've had my UO account since Sept 98. In Spring of 99, a good and dear friend of mine suprised me for my birthday with a White Wyrm.

I haven't played real active in a long time, however I generally play a few months out of the year until I get bored because all my friends and the like are long gone.

I reactivated today. Login to Great Lakes, and find all my characters are gone.

I emailed support, and there is nothing that can be done. I can only assume someone got ahold of my account and transfered/looted/deleted all of my characters.

I don't care if someone stole all my vet rewards, arties, anything else. Man alive though, that WW..just makes me sick.

Some might not care, some may. I just needed to vent I suppose. After a decade of hunting with a specific pet, you get attached. I know a lot of tamers understand that. It's an interesting bond we share with a pixelated pet.

When I look back at all the work I put into my tamer, I almost simply don't know where to begin again.

Aww, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've got a whole pack of my first pets still stabled and it's something I've always been afraid of, so I feel your pain. Losing the characters too...ugh

It might be worth logging in to other shards to check none of your chars were xsharded, but that's a long shot really.

Maybe try contacting customer support by phone too, just see if another person is more willing to look into it for you...not something I have any experience with so I'm not sure what else to advise

I may call Customer Support directly and see. I'm not holding my breath, though.

I checked the other shards, they were deleted of Xfered off account.

My WoW account was hacked about 6mo ago too. Starting to think somehow someone got my info. I find it really hard to believe, I always keep firewalls/AV going. Oh well.

I can deal with losing the characters, although starting over with 1k gold probably wasn't what I had in mind when I wanted to play again lol. Only thing that I can't really replace was my WW. Had some pets just as old, just the memories with the Wyrm are, well, priceless.

On the up side, it gives me something to do.

Sorry to hear you lost your wyrm. I started playing again a few months ago after having been away from the game for nine years. When I logged on to my account for the first time in years, all but one of my characters was gone. It was sad as I had fond memories of those characters, but there is so much new content in the game it didn't take long to get over it and have fun.

Here's hoping the fun of the game will overcome your loss.
