Lost Items and time On Catskills

There was a total reset of the server on Catskills apparently.

I moved houses last night, moved TEN vendors that were displaying armor sets.

When I just logged on, the vendors were all gone, GUESS WHAT??? THEY WERE BACK AT MY OLD FREAGIN HOUSE.....

Oh, my guild did the Bedlam champ last night, GUESS who got the Plague Beast Statue???? ME

Yep. It is gone too. Everything that I did after 11pm central time or around that time is completely GONE.....

This is absolutely stupid.

Sorry to vent to you all here. I just dont know what to think about this except be down right steamed.

If they reset to yesterday at 5:00 am I was within 4hrs of losing a Keep,unless house placement was unaffected.I feel for the OP.

im sure that we all lost more than just a few skill points etc, time put into the game. I think we at least deserve a proper explination of what happened... not this "sorry for your inconvienience" BS. Back to work on the 30 bods I did last night... good thing I didnt get anything good last night, maybe my odds are improving tonight???

I had forgotten I bought some grizzle armor I needed too! Here's a bright spot, went back and saw the vendor working there and asked if still had the grizzle armor. I quoted what I'd paid the nite before, and said he'd be happy to hold and resell to me.

I think that things like these can happen every 2 years. I haven't seen a revert on Catskills during the past 24 months. Yes, it sucks. I spent the whole Sunday training my skills - waste of time! But I can live with this, as long as it happens only once every 2 years.

It reverted a house trade on a greatly worn house I did yesterday, glad I logged in today to be able to do it again. If anyone else did house transfers best check them before anyone looses a lot.

As someone that works in IT and deals with server and network downtime all the time, I have to deal with similar situations like this all the time, except its productivity time where the company loses money and not virtual entertainment time. So i can sort of say i've been on UO's end of your venting and its an unfortunate problem but these things happen.

reminds me of the old Lake Superior days, back in the first days of Tram's birth LS was taking Dirt naps daily it seemed. Sorry that you having problems on Catskill, hopefully they will fix the problem and not have it happen again for a very long time.

I remember many days like that long ago. Time warps were a weekly occurance. At least you weren't doing something boring and lost all the time and stuff from that.

Oh boy do I remember those days on LS! You never did anything that was important because chances are it would be undone. On the positive side you could attempt things you might not normally have done.

My sympathies to all those on Catskills that have been affected. Hopefully it will get better soon!

As Vlad said, these things used to occur a whole lot more often. I'm glad they don't happen as much now.

What shard was this on?

I had almost the same thing happen. I placed a much loved large marble on LS but then the shard crashed and when it came back my marble was gone. When we were able to place again I lost the spot and had to settle for a log cabin also.

Same thing happened to me. I place my long-coveted marble patio.

Only to find someone else had placed something there when I logged in that morning. I was PISSED.

Reverts happened pretty much every week back in the first year or so of UO. Or longer... cant remember. lol. Try going through that every week. I feel for ya man. It sucks
