After a long and grueling journey, I've finally made it to Osan, South Korea. Unfortunately the lag on Siege Perilous is INCREDIBLE. I can't take two steps without pausing for three seconds. It's unplayable.

Funny thing is, I signed up for the 100mb/s speed... it's only 60 bucks a month. I can download a 800mb movie in about 10mins but I can't play UO, lol.

Oh well, I'll still stalk the boards and when I get out of here I'll be back.

Stayed in Japan for a while and took on Sakura server there.....went to Oceania after a while so I had some English speakers!

Also, check back in a few days - the Devs have been working on a mysterious lag issue and what you are experiencing (or at least some of it) might be from that! Shoot, I'm in the middle of the U.S. and I had lag last night that would have made it deadly for me to do anything beyond the simplest of tasks. But the Devs are aware that there is an issue. I do not expect it will completely solve your lag, but it just might be a part of it.

it is your latency for your ISP provider to UO
try the broadband test online and check it against different areas in the world to see if it is your ISP (compare latency to a local site) or just from the country.

all sat and cell phone ISP are gonna have at least a 150MS latency. if you have a choice to a land line ISP that might be a big difference.

How about setting up shop in Mugen? Is that a possibility? Who knows what nifty tricks ya might learn.
