right take night eyes as a target i need most dmg i can

im runing

110 mage
115 eval
100 necro
100 ss
85 focus
110 med
100 scribe

got spider slayer book on
crystal ring 20% sdi
and corps skin it

what more can i do for dmg?
im hitting with fireballs 70-100 dmg is this good?
i get in raith form dont realy lose mana and i have wisp up lmc is ok but fireball till its low then dump but i just want to get more dmg lol

any thorts


drop scribe for something maybe?

Add more sdi to suit?
Hat of magi 10 sdi
Wizards glasses 15 sdi
Necro bracer 10 sdi
Spellwoven britches 10 sdi
Pendant of magi 5 sdi

You could also run a ring bracelet combo with 12 sdi on each for a total of 24 sdi.

My best combo and still having decent resist is
Hat of magi or wizard glasses
Pendant of magi
Spellwoven britches
Crystalline ring

Omen before damage spell can do more damage, however you are using mana to do that damage, so it would probably be better to just cast fireball again.

no resists are needed for fighting navrey....you could go with 0 across the board and never die


but like he said....stuff as much SDI into your temp as you can...

and throw some GM inscription in for good measure

and find a spider slayer scrappers!



and throw out a pet on navrey....use rising colossus if you have myst....or a fire elemental might work for magery...or a greater if you have taming

My "reasonable cost" max SDI suit is:

HEAD: Kasa of the Rajin (12 SDI)
NECK: Pendant of the Magi (5 SDI)
ARMS: Midnight Bracers (10 SDI)
LEGS: Spellwoven Britches (10 SDI)
RING: Imbued w/no special ingredients (10 SDI)
BRACE: Imbued w/no special ingredients (10 SDI)
BOOK: Invasion (30 SDI) or Scrappers (25 SDI)

With this I can easily still get to 100 LRC, 40 LMC, and get all of my resists in the 60s (some to 70). And, I don't break my bank in the process. The rest of the pieces are all custom built imbued barbed leather.

For Navrey, I use the above with what Walkerbooth recommended for the spellbook (Scrappers w/Spider Slayer or just a regular Spider Slayer with 7-9 SDI) with my pure necro-mage. With a GM scribe, over 100 magery, and a little luck, you can probably craft one of these SDI + Spider Slayers with less than 5000 scrolls. I send in the fire elemental, corpse skin, and then flamestrike, explode, fireball as required.

There most certainly is a point where improving your gear costs either time or gold or both.

This is where you fall back on your profession to get some gold.

Smith: Power of fortification is in high demand and obtained through BOD's
Tailor: clothing bless deeds
Imbue: services rendered
Hunter-gatherer: start selling imbueing ingredients also doing quest for powder of translocation and bags of sending

It's not the most fun part of playing, but well worth the effort.

Keep doing navery as well. The new arties are selling for a boatload of gold too.

I think we're starting to see the Night Eyes slowly fall into proper pricing in the economy. They seem to be the most frequent drop of the new items and they have to compete with some other excellent head gear options for mages. Congrats on getting a pair. I'm still working on my first drop.
