I am a long time player on Pacific. I have about 5 characters.

I am now homeless and want to buy or create an 18 x 18. I have NEVER owned an 18 x 18 and finally want one.

I am also looking at possibly transferring to a server that is more popular but this may hurt my chances at finding a house. How much are transfers? Do you do it by character one by one or can you transfer all of them at once?

Does anyone know any good spots for an 18 x 18, on pacific or anywhere else?

There is room for 18x18s on every shard if you look far enough.
Keeps and Castles the only thing that are tricky (and Keeps aren't so hard on smaller shards).

Transfers are 20 bucks each character. So to transfer 5 characters, that would be $100.

As for a good spot, obviously the more popular areas for housing are around Luna... but on most shards Malas has open land. Atlantic is the most populated shard, but Pacific is the most populated West Coast shard.

Regardless of the shard though, fel is the easiest to find a house spot :p
Definitely room for an 18x18.

100 bucks whoever said UO was just a pixel game huh? Whatever shard you are in try the southern outbacks of Malas after the long bridge chances are you might get lucky for an 18x 18.

Good luck!

30 mins after reactivation my account I was able to place a classic tower in trammel on the Europa shard :)
And before that I found a few spots that would hold the big classic houses.

I don't know why people are so eager to place an 18x18. A 14x18 can hold as many items and uses less space.

My opinion is: Smaller houses should get more lockdowns/storage. I like small houses, and I don't want to be penalized for owning one.

For me it isn't about storage. It's about more space for customization. The bigger it is the more room I have to design.

Here is the tip I give everyone. Go to a populated shard. If yours is fine great.

If not. Buy 1 transfer token and a soul stone all your other charactures skills.

Bring one player over to a new facet with like 20-25 soulstones. Yes you lose some things like power scrolled charactures. But bring your best.

This way you save money. Make new charactures with same name and soulstone them back up.

As for finding house 18x18 can be found or bought on atlantic 20-30 million. A 16x16 goes as low as 5 million.

So.

I found an open 18x18 spot today in Malas on Pacific. Send me a PM so we can arrange to meet so I can take you to the spot.
