Since VvV was introduced and you can buy royal forged pardons I think most people used them to go blue again. These days there is no real benefit to being red at all.
You can find a guild that hangs around Yew gate on ATL called [CHEM] they are mostly red from what I have seen. I could say other stuff about them but won't bother

So people don't go to champ spawns and raid other players anymore? There was never really a benefit of being red to my knowledge, but it was a consequence of murdering people for other motives than just war between factions, PvP duels, guild wars, etc... Some players would also go to Felucca, and fight anyone following no faction rules or anything. That was the essence and fun of being PK; fighting without rules and little honor, kill defenseless miners, attack from the shadows, hurt the weak.. No more stinkers in felucca!?!?What's going on with UO. I mean seriously... I never cared about Chaos vs Order, never cared about faction wars, and I dont care about VvV. I just want to log in, go to fel and kill whoever I want.
P.D. I am not saying I was or am an ass trying to kill noobs or miners, I do fight with real pvpers, but I still look for weaknesses and opportunities. And I simply enjoy that type of strategy, and coordinating with a team rather than dueling 1 to 1. I do attack 1 to 1 sometimes, to better myself.

People still raid spawns etc. A lot of players are now in VvV so they will just appear orange anyway so you can kill them without picking up a count.
I like to go and check out spawns. If I roll up and see somebody working one I will first offer protection (justice virtue) and then if they decline and I'm feeling naughty then I will attack.
I can pickup a murder count if I kill them but forged pardons are so cheap these days I don't really mind.
