Looking for List of Skills Ranked By Decay Difficulty

Does anyone know of a list that ranks the skills in order by which ones decay the easiest down to those that are the hardest to drop, or vice versa?

I am usually too cheap to buy soulstones for my characters and am not sitting on a pile of unused soulstone fragments or unused vet rewards on all the shards I play. As a result, I often find myself with characters that have reached their overall skill total and still need to raise some skills at the expense of others that I've turned down. I thought I'd seen a list like this somewhere, but it was quite a few years ago and doing a search here on Stratics didn't turn up what I wanted.

Thanks.

I think it just starts at the top of the list, and works its way down, checking each skill turned down.

Easiest way would be to have only one skill turned down, and if you don't want to completely eliminate the skill, buy as much alchemy as you wish to lower it, then lock the skill back, and set alchemy to go down. That way, when Alchemy hits 0, you know it's time to repeat the procedure with a different skill you wish to eliminate.

Note that some skills are out of order. Resisting spells falls under "Magicresist" spelling, in this manner - see the Test Center Help list for setting skills, to see the order of skillsby their game internal names.

Actually, I'm trying to figure out which skills are the most stubborn about decaying so I don't raise them too high. For example, I've noticed that if I let Focus raise as well as Evaluating Intelligence on a peace tamer character that will eventually have no room for either skill, it seems as if Evaluating Intelligence skill is less resistant to dropping than Focus is, i.e., I get better gains in the skills that are pointed up when Eval Int is pointed down than when Focus is pointed down.

I guess it would be handy to know in what order skills decay too if you have multiple skills turned down. I thought I read somewhere it's done alphabetically but that doesn't seem to be 100% accurate.

I made the following post in the "Ask the Devs" section. Maybe someone on the dev team will try to respond to it.

Can you provide a list of UO skills ranked in order by how resistant each skill is to decay? The list of skills at the bottom of this post is one I copied from an old fan site and supposedly lists the skills in order from easiest to decay to hardest to decay, but I have no idea how accurate it is. It is also missing several skills (i.e., Bushido, Chivalry, Discordance, Focus, Imbuing, Mysticism, Necromancy, Ninjitsu, Spellweaving, Stealing, and Throwing).

Can you confirm whether it is true that if you are trying to gain in a skill that decays easier than a skill you have turned down to let it decay, your gains will be slower and in some cases stop altogether?

Can you also explain how the game decides which skill to decay when multiple skills are turned down, your character is at its overall skill cap and then gets a gain in a skill that is turned up but not yet capped?

Here is the old list of skills referenced in the first paragraph above, supposedly ranked in order from easiest to decay to hardest to decay.
