Looking for judges

Greetings,

On Sunday, 15th May at 3pm Eastern [8pm UK], Siege Perilous shard will be holding the Miss Siege beauty pageant at Moonglow Lyceum to find the most desirable lady in the land. The lady crowned as Miss Siege will be awarded a plot in New Magincia as her prize.

To ensure a fair contest, the organizers are looking to bring in independent judges from outside the shard, and we still need a couple more. The ideal requirements for a judge are:

a) Not a regular Siege player and no strong connection with any players who have entered.

b) Well known on their own shard.

c) Be quite certain that they can make the event time and be able to stay for the duration (probably up to two hours).

d) Be able to use Vent.

e) Be able to create a Siege character called "name of shard", where “name” is their main character and “shard” their normal shard, e.g. Joe of Catskills, Gandalf of Chessy.

If there is anyone out there that generally meets these requirements and would be willing to give up some time to be a judge, then please PM me.

Aren't toons, w/ their associated name, permanent there? I think I'd drop the name requirement, if so.

There is only one character per account. But as we are looking for people who don't normally play the shard, they may well be able to create a new character there. However, that said, the name thing is not absolutely essential.

You just have to wait the normal 7 days before deleting, then you can make a new one.

I forgot to post this earlier, but congratulations to Sara Dale for winning the Miss Siege 2011 beauty pageant on Sunday. And thanks once again to Tazar of Atlantic and Safari & Lebrun of Catskills for being such great judges.

Perhaps other shard would like to organize a similar event, then there could be a Miss Sosaria on TC or something?
