Still hoping for info on this item. Does anyone know where this is from? I've locked it down on the first floor of my house near my mining carts. All help is appreciated.

I could be wrong... my word is not golden on this one.
I feel like it's a bugged quest item. They buckets of water spawn with timers down in the valley of "I hate that place" (i dunno the name offhand im sorry). Perhaps there was a bug that allowed the water to be removed and you were left with a container? So many items are able to be bugged now I wouldn't be surprised.

it is not server birth and not bugged quest item.
it was just changed the name.
empty bucket will be change the name by try to put a drink other than water in it.
and "A Container" will back-rename put the water and pull out it.
you can try it on TC with empty bucket.
