"you cannot pick that up" still applies.. i wouldnt really mind.. except it weighs 255.. lol.

I think its stuck in his hand. Never use an item on the ground that moves to your hands when used that's locked down like that... never ends well.. lol.

Best you can do is get a dev's attention and get it removed, and a replacement of some sort for reminder of the event placed.

If that is the case, fill your pack, go to your house, page a GM and tell him you can't drop the pole to lock it down. Say it was an event item.

Do everything you can to keep such a nice trinket!

Whew that was a fun mini-event we had tonight..

the EM, Ghost, and myself were trying to get the pole unglued for quite some time.. Even took a trip to a Fel area to see if the EM could snoop me, and drag the pole out.. but alas "you can not pick that up"

(double clicking the chest teleported me to the bridge halfway between brit and trinny)

So then I fished with it (in order to equip it) and see if the EM could drag it off.. Nope..

Then we went back to the hall, and were chillin.. yes even EMs have to wait in the queue for a GM to come.. #9.. then #8..

Then I had an idea to sacrafice myself for the greater good.. and not loot the corpse.. but i couldnt drink the poison because the pole was stuck in my hands now.. and "you must have a free hand to drink a potion" lol.. So i recalled to nowhere, and it went back into my pack. I drank my tonic and went to sleep, and the EM got his pole back =).

Fun fun.
