@Btownbrian, when Trammel went live, there was a bit of a bug with a few NPC vendors on each shard. It didn't affect many items, nor many NPC, and it didn't last all that long. But some certain items were sold with a hue, instead of plain color. The purple bottle of whine came from a vendor on Hokuto, I think in Yew. The pink helm came from a vendor in Delucia, though I forget which shard. Same with the pink lemon, the pink arrow, and 10 or 20 others, including your pink bowl of carrots. Those I think came from Chessie, though I don't remember where the vendor was - Minoc, maybe? In any case, the colors were the same ones that moonstones used to phase through. I would guess it was something about the moonstone code that made things a little screwy when the Trammel vendors were first initialized, until they were manually corrected by GMs or devs, but that's just a guess.
