Logging out

Whats with waitting to time out when I try to log out in my own home? It happens all the time. I havent been attacked or attacked anything for over an hour. But still I sit here and wait the 5 minutes or however long it is to time out. Please fix this.

When this happens I usually just log back in, toggle in and out of war mode a few times and then log back out. It's been like this since UO came out.

Are you able to use a soulstone? If you are never able to then you may be experiancing a similar situation as I once did.

If you have to wait 5 minutes every single time to logout at an Inn or in your own home, your character may be bugged. Mine was for years and I just learned to live with it because no one seemed able to fix it. But then they introduced Soulstones and I was never able to use them. So I paged again and a GM was able to fix it. I guess I was somehow stuck in a status of permanently flagged in combat and a GM just turned it off.

If you go to swich characters and you have to time out in your house and you havent been attacked or anything, then when you go to click your character the first time and it says you havent timed out.. hit ok and type your password again and then try and log back on the SAME character you were trying to get on. This happens to me all the time and if I just try and log in the character Im trying to get on a second time it always works.

If that makes any sence at all...

Some times dismounting-remounting off your ride will "reset" your char, I use it when I cannot open a corpse...seems to work 99% of the time.

i had this problem for a while in my old house seems like there is a couple things that cause this.
1 something just on edge of screen or in range of you has you targeted there are 3 fixes I know of for this use peacemake area then log , cast invise on self wait about 5 seconds to break any targeting or use hiding skill(auto works in house even at 0 skill)
2 in my old house there were certain bad spots not sure the reason maybe terrain under house containers whatever what i did was expariment and found couple a spots in house where it never failed and then always went to those spots when logging out

so if you go to a spot you have identified as good spot and done one of the items in number 1 you will always be able to log out and back in instantly works for me every time

Call GM it might be bugged.

Same here as with JC, I went for years waiting for my one char to time out
