Lockpicking without Cartography??

Are there any good chests out there to be picked by a warrior-type who only has Lockpicking - no Remove Trap or Cartography?

I added LP to a Paladin/Archer and aside from the time it takes to remove the traps from the chests using magery - I am finding only a very few chests that have loot that is better than you get from the monster spawn in the area.

Is Lock-picking useless to those who aren't full-on Treasure Hunters?

you will find the skill very useful when publish 74 goes live. All the cells are locked.

Also, the chests in the revamped dungeons are locked as well, and have loot in them (shame, especially). Frankly, for purposes of Imbuing, the chests often end up better (fewer properties, especially detrimental ones) than stuff from the spawn (which mostly ends up in the unravel pile)
