Ok, so the only reason I stil run windows is because of UO... and I refused to run WINE under nix.... can you all PLEASE create a linux client for UO??? I am totally happy with the CC. I hate the EC so hopefully, that will be much easier to create a client for linux based of the classic client... PLEASE do this so i can finally ditch windows......... i beg you all.

Please please don't. It's enough that you squander meager resources by maintaining 2 clients instead of one. There is no need to create a third one for the six UO players out there who want to run UO on Linux.

Maybe @Nexus is around and can give you some suggestions, as the link to a guide in that thread no longer seems to work and he mentioned (in 2011) he was hoping to update it.

People ask for a Mac client or a console version every once in a while and it's always rejected. Indeed they are already spread too thin with a tiny dev team, two clients, and two rulesets. Sorry to say, but I can't see this being worth their while.

Restore your computer to what you were using before going to WIN 10 and give Microsoft a few years to get WIN 10 finished. They'll have to get it working well before industry & Wallstreet will start using it, and those business' are their main profit customers for Windows and all the accessory programs. They'll get 10 working or make a new Windows OS to stay in business.

I always find it funny that Linux people brag about how good the OS is,but they can't get anything to run on it...

Linux may become popular with business IT people considering the security features WIN 10 has. That P2P update feature will be a hacker target.
