Liche versus Lich Vet Statue

Not too long ago all of the Liche statues were supposed to automatically be changed to Lich. Some survived the attempt. I (very luckily) found one on a vendor for 100k (and snatched it up fast lol) and was wondering if anyone knew how the ones that survived the attempt actually survived it. Were they simply in boxes in peoples homes and not locked in plain sight? Were they in bank boxes? I don't want to see this one change name on me like the last one did...

I have 6 of them, four of which have been locked down in the same place for some time now in my castle. The other 2 i have picked up over the past year via vendor browsing on shards. Not sure exactly how the ones i have had locked down were not phased by the attempted change.

Wow. That is strange. The one I had that changed was locked on my steps.
