Liberation

Sosaria's united forces had barely breached the capital when the jubilant citizens of Britain began celebrating victory, at times it had seemed unlikely and even impossible, yet after overcoming what had been regarded as an almost insurmountable objective the free peoples of Sosaria have ousted the usurper king and his mercenary lackeys from the capital.

Our embedded reporter amongst the Yewish and Covian forces reported an epic battle that took place along the road leading into West Britain. Whilst details regarding the push into East Britain are sketchy, various sources suggest that the main body of combat took place on the western fringe of the city.
Many amongst the Yewish and Covian ranks were astonished by the sheer size of the enemy force, Casca had clearly splashed his ill-begotten cash on funding an entire army of mercenaries as even the combined enormity of Yew and Cove were outnumbered at least two to one as they marched to relieve the throne.
Despite possessing odds hugely in their favour Casca's forces were unable to resist the grit and determination of their opposition and after numerous blockades and ambushes failed to drive the oncoming forces from the field the defenders crumbled leaving the road to Britain open and ripe for liberation.

With the capital now pressed to the bosom of the Royal Guard and with Casca and his minions in hiding it would seem that the short-lived war is all but concluded.

The combind armies of Soraria meet in preparation for a historical day.

The various Commanders were gathered and given instructions as the forces were divided to march on Britain from East and West.

After been given instructions those making up the force that would taking Britain from the West started there march. But no sooner had they advanced then brigands rushed them on 3 sides. Everyone was prepared and tensed muscles swiftly brought down Casca’s forces whilst magic cackled in the air.

Wave after wave the brigands tried to holt there advance and each step was a tough battle and taken in blood. But onward they marched ever determined.

Finely they reached there goal, the boarders of Britain where the battle continued to rage. After a last onslaught from the brigands the Combined Army of Sosaria won through and they had taken the West side of Britain and waited by the bridge for the rest to meet them.

Spies were sent out but no sign of the Eastern army was spotted. It was decided then to march onto Castle Blackthorn which only had a few Guards left who soon stepped aside when they saw the force coming against them. Right up to the barricaded door they marched and were informed Casca was no where to be seen. Commander Nathan Hawke then hurried forward with the news that the graveyard was over run and they raced to stop there escape.

The battle in the graveyard was very intense and raged on for what seemed hours as muscles ached and exhaustion started to take its toll. But no one left till the last brigand dropped to the ground and Britain was truly there’s again.

A shout came to attend Castle Britain where everyone raced as fast as their now weak bodies could go. With great relief they saw the rest of the armie was already there as they arrived just in time to hear that Casca had escaped but Victory was there’s.
