The authorities want you to know:
If you placed your boat near the place Blackthorn's old castle was standing, please remove it before tomorrow, Wednesday July 11th, at midnight EDT. If your boat isn't removed, it might get burried and destroyed in some landscaping works that are about to happen in that area.

I think we will have a few people crying that say they should have gotten more notice and demand a refund for the boat they had..haha!!

Dawn killed Blackthorn, an old BNN news article told me so this morning (I wasn't around at the time, so I needed to check on this)... his body was laid to rest on the grounds of his Brit island castle with many witnesses.... he was surely dead, I would think, else they were all party to burying the poor man/machine alive, so his return makes little sense to me

We've had time travel, split consciousnesses, and all sorts of 'dead but got better' examples in UO's history...

I admit it's more hope than 'proven fact', but let's consider, from the fiction about the 'mysterious healer' in Ter Mur - he arrives in a new place and walks around exploring, advocating helping other intelligent, non-human, races... knows a lot about magic and alchemy... all fit Blackthorn's 'past history' pretty well.

To stretch it a little, but still, Serpent Isle had Blackthorn take refuge with and live with the Xankan monks, and out 'mysterious healer' is in a monk's robe .....

as I said - I hope he's back.....

Yeah, grave is Felside next to the castle, or was, not sure if it's still there. Think the explosion of the castle was Tram only. However, just for sake of argument, Dawn COULD have conspired with Blackthorn and helped fake his death. I would not put anything past her

I think the whole area there is getting a slight cosmetic change, except it won't be flowers. Since Mesanna implied you wouldn't want a house there when it's done makes me think it won't be pleasant for travelers. Rules out dancing ponies and pandas tho.

The story of ultima is centered AROUND time travel (ignoring the retcon of the whole juka/kilrathi...erm...i mean meer thing) Mondain created the gem of immortality 1000 years ago and had rule over sorsaria, the only way to kill him was before he was immortal. Going back in time and shattering the gem so mondain could be killed is what created the shards
