Can I ask why? Just for debate? Would like to see some different plants added to the gardening list. But reg plants? If you can get them added in, why not. But until then play the game and take advantage of how regs are distributed now. How about some quests where you are rewarded with regs, kind of like the solen powder quests since those are pretty much worthless now.

Use green thorns that you can grow. Or did they change using a green thorn to not spawn regs? Never used green thorns, though I know someone that does.

Since the lrc/lmc introductions, I rarely need regs anymore. And when I do, say for scroll/potion making (I try to keep 5k of each on hand), I have a cat statue that I empty everyday. I seen keeps/castles with 10+ statues

Plus depending on what I am hunting I take regs from monster kills when I know that I am getting low. Heck hunt juka mages you get some of every reg except necro ones.

Also since I fish up treasure chests, I save the regs from them. You can actually get quite a few regs from just normal gameplay, it is just that most people do not/will not take advantage of the regs as they are now.

Ubbe, I believe if you stick a green thorn (harvested from a bright green Snake plant or a bright green Barrel Cactus) in a patch of dirt, such as a road, you get a nice supply of reagents.

I always wanted to be a herbalist. grow my own regents, then use my skill as an alchemist to brew potions.
I also think that to grow your own regents is a half way to scrap LRC from mages.

If you live in Oregon you can grow 2 plants for all the 'herb' you could need....

And be able to lock my giant spider down in my home, bring it sheep to eat, and it produces spider silk! Thats a long time dream of mine.

I could definitely see a boom in the Glassblowers business...

...

Green thorns are fine for reagents (not to mention several other uses in different locations).

However I do agree that plant growers need more resources to grow (including the chocolate stuffs).

I'd love to see a petal that protects from debuffs (weaken, clumsy, feeblemind, curse).

Maybe some new, rarer reagents for new potions in alchemy... who knows.

Doesn’t the blessed cat statue produce 10 random regents a day? That seems easier since you don’t have to water & tend to it and it wont die, just ‘pick’ your regents once a day

The thing is you should be able to produce regents so you can live from it in your normal hunting and 10 of each wont even let you out of the door

Personally I think gardeners should be able to grow practically everything. Not gonna happen though. I always wondered why you can only buy bags, pouches and backpacks instead of crafting those, too.

Dragonhide Backpack...Holds more weight, reduces weight in it by a %, that would be interesting, like a Bag of Holding. Non Insurable/Blessable.

When i want Necro Regs, i kill Lich Lords, they got tons. However normal Mage Regs can be a pain to get, having to build up the count on the vendors. Why i normally buy regs in Commodity Deeds off of player vendors. Would be kind of cool to be an Herbalist.
