Lesser Hiryu will not transfer

I tried to xfer a lesser hiryu to one of my red chars who has 90 bushido. From what I have read and remember this is the only requirement, however the hiryu will not xfer because it doesnt trust my red. Does it smell blood on my hands or what?

Just keep trying - it will take a few goes, when you are borderline control chance the beast will often not be too hapy about being transferred.

sometimes it helps to feed it before the attempt.
