i think its great. the dci, while not ideal lets you max out di on a 5stam no ssi jewel. the hpi is extremely nice. no lmc detracts from value. i dont pay crap for crap anymore, so hard to come up with a price but could build a very nice suit around it.

to try to put a price on it, its plate thats slightly over 500 imbue weight with all high resists. id probably buy it for around 30m or so, maybe 45 because of the hpi.

This is probably a stupid question...but I see this a lot on the forums and was wondering if someone could elaborate for me. Why is studded and bone armor preferred over other armor types?

because you get a 3percent lmc bonus over the 40 cap from the actual mod. plate you get a 1percent bonus. mage armor you get 0 bonus but can remove that mod by paying 250k to an npc mage guildmaster. woodland and leather / leaf you get 0 bonus.

So basically, studded / bone is "better" because you can have your 5 pieces of it (15overcap lmc for total of 55), then use a woodland 8 stam piece to get your 10hci needed on armor for the most efficient setups in regards to cost/overall stats.

an effective way to incorporate a non-studded or bone piece is to use 2 5hci 8stam imbued pieces, 4 stam jewel and corguls sash, or (much more expensive method) use 5hci 10stam reforged pieces which are very rare to get. Or put 20hci on jewels but then your ssi suffers unless you find very rare/expensive ones.

I'd say 25-30M gold for price check.
