Leave of Absence from TT

Our president has a thing for three-day weekends and so by presidential decree we get 2 this month.

This is the first one and my family is taking advantage of it by going up to the mountains for a mini vacation.

The place where we will be staying has no internet. I will use my cellphone as a modem but I haven't tried playing TT with it and I'm not sure how smooth things will be.

Otherwise, I'm not quite sure how we will deal with the loss of TT for several days.

LD will miss the SOS shopping cause we will be on the road but hopefully we can make it to Sunday night. *fingers crossed*

Hi everyone!

I'm back. No 3G signal in the house either so the phone idea was a bust. :loser: Withdrawal wasn't so bad though.

Didn't get to do much because of the afternoon rains and heavy fog but we all enjoyed the cool air. Especially coming from a daily temp in the high 80's.

The kids had a blast horseback riding and playing/fighting/making up with their cousins.

The adults enjoyed the food and drinks. Plus, I love my mother-in-law to death for bringing along help so that everyone could just sit back, relax and be lazy bums.

I have to mention though that last night I went to the kids dining table (we couldn't fit in the main dining room) to check if they needed anything. I could hear Gabby talking to her cousins (who also play TT) about all of you who are on her friends list. After about an hour I checked on them to see if they were ready for bed and I could still hear your names.

One more 3-day weekend coming up but we'll be in town the whole time. I need to catch up on my cleaning and organizing. The rest of the time, expect me to be around TT.
