I remember back before Stratics boards blew up and there was a nice handy leather goods price guide. I've had leather goods sitting in crates in my house FOREVER... no idea how much to sell them for.

Can someone that remembers said guide put it back up, or give me a new general idea?

The only thing I remember from it is the person who posted it said that they used 58 resist or higher because you need 58 resist per piece average to comprise an all 70s suit.

Any help???

Come on... someone help me out here....

I'm sure the person that posted it before is still lurking... OR someone post your own?

I believe that was my pricing guide in the old Tailor Forums. It was something like this:

58-59 Resists: Multiply resists * 5,000
60-69 Resists: Multiply resists * 10,000
70-79 Resists: Multiply resists * 20,000
80-89 Resists: Multiply Resists * 100,000
90 and above Resists: Multiply Resists * 250,000

If Energy Resist is above 20, subtract 5 from the resists.

Luck 120-130: Multiply luck by 1,000
Luck 130-139: Multiply luck by 2,000
Luck 140: Multiply luck by 5,000
If suit has over 60 resists and 120-130 luck, double the value of the suit
If suit has over 60 resists and 140 luck, triple the value of the suit

LRC 15+: LRC * 5,000
If suit has over 60 resists and LRC 15% to LRC 19%, double the value of the suit
If suit has over 60 resists and LRC 20%, triple the value of the suit

MR1: 5,000 gold
MR2: 10,000 gold
If suit has over 60 resists and MR1, multiply value of suit * 1.1
If suit has over 60 resists and MR2, multiply value of suite * 1.25

I think that's pretty close to what I had previously posted.

Once our professions forums are reintegrated, I'm sure it will be. :)

For any of you on the Pacific shard, I'm sure you know Pojman... he's a good friend of mine and the best armor maker on the shard, hands down. I will probably be contributing some of his wisdom here.

Copied and pasted from a post into one of my notebooks from 3-3-08 for general reference..
here is the original Setnaffa price guide for posterity purposes...though it looks like Setnaffa has adjusted the pricing since then.

"Armor Pricing
For 58 and 59 resists, I multiply the resists times 5,000.
For 60-69, I multiply the resists times 10,000.
For 70-79, I multiply the resists times 20,000.
For 80-89, I multiply the resists times 100,000.
For 90+, I multiply the resists times 275,000.

Now if the suit also has LRC 15-19, I double the Value.
If it has LRC 20, I triple the value.
If it also has 130+ luck, I double the Value.
If it has 140 luck, I triple the value.

For low resist stuff with at least LRC 15% or higher on it, I sell if for LRC * 5,000
For low resist stuff with High Luck, I sell it for Luck * 1,000, unless it's 140 luck, then I sell it for 500K.

If it also has Mana Regen, I multiply the price by 1.1 for MR 1 and 1.25 for MR 2."

Though I can't sell anywhere close to these prices, I used the framework and set my multipliers much cheaper.

Thanks! I couldn't remember what I said before. The numbers always change and the calculations are continually refined. I had a PM from someone who is going to try to change the pricing guide into an online calculator. That could be pretty cool.

Again, it's all just a guideline. My stuff sells pretty well in Luna using my guidelines, but you should all adjust as you see fit.

I just sent a PM, but here or PM... doesnt matter... what shard are you on? I see from your stratics profile you're in Cali, does that mean you're on Pac shard? *crosses fingers*
