Has anyone noticed mining changes 'lately'?
When High Seas came out, I was mostly busy with fishing and took a break of 2-3 months in between. Now I did some mining again and the resulty were surprising.
I usually park my miner in Delucia/Fel with 50 sturdy mining tools. When I want to do some mining, I pick a few sturdys from the bankbox and start. I have a human miner who wears little luck. (240/Golden armour simply fitted best to the yellow beetle colour in the past.)
What I realized first was that I am getting way more small pieces of blackrock than before. While I got around 5-6 pieces of them out of 50 sturdys, I now got 12 from 6 sturdys. (I know, 6 mining tools is a too small sample to give concrete numbers but maybe someone else has made similar experiences.)
Second I had the feeling that ore spots were changing colour faster and most of the time to my advantage.
I dont know, if i was only lucky or if there were changes to mining. (ok, I know of the new niter deposits and that luck should influence getting them. Sould it be that luck now also influences mining blackrock pieces and spots changing colours? Thought the 240 on my miner shouldnt hardly be noticeable if luck for mining would follow the same rules as luck for loot.)
