Is it just me or does the answer not actually have much to do with the question?

Question

A few years back, someone went around to see how many houses could be placed on a shard starting with castle and working down to the smallest plot. Could you tell me if any castles could be placed on Fire Isle? Keeps?

Yes we have been taking down these houses as we are informed of them. I ask you as our players to help us with this. We have taken down a huge number of these houses that have been reported over all the shards. So with that said.....

If you come across these types of abandoned houses, please send me the location, shard and any other information you have so we can take down all these empty houses. My email is [email protected].

Yes we have been taking down these houses as we are informed of them. I ask you as our players to help us with this. We have taken down a huge number of these houses that have been reported over all the shards. So with that said.....

The problem is the OP isn't really coherent in the post.


He states that this person filled a server up with houses that are probably now abandoned. The reply was a response to this as they remove these houses as reported.

The second part doesn't belong in that forum as he could just go there and find out himself.

Hey i didnt know who did it, I think it was a dev, noone else went around to see how many houses would fit on a shard starting with the castle and working down. I reworded my question and sent a pm to the person that answered it. This was right before we got Malas ( i think), when the "devs" wanted to see how many houses would fit on a shard.

There aren't many of those old abandoned, self-refreshing houses left on the more populated shards, but there are a lot of them on some of the shards with less players.

A good programmer could probably make a system that checks to see whether each house on each shard is linked to an active account, and start the decay process on every house that is linked to an inactive account, that was placed during the "welcome back to Britannia" programs, or that a dev placed and forgot about. It would just have to be set up so that the grandfathered houses wouldn't get poofed.

i saw that too and wondered, where in the hell are you gonna place a castle on fire ? i live there in tram and i'll tell you, space is limited not because of other houses but because of the terrain. a keep ? not a chance lol when i placed my house recently i got 8 visitors within a few days even though nobody came and house is private. not sure what that meant
