Largest IDOC on Shard (GMs are needed!)

On my shard (i wont say which) there is probably the most important IDOC in history of the shard (i wont say what type of plot and where).

There will probably be hundreds of people there, everyone knows what time it will fall, so why not have a GM there to watch all the hidden, scripters and water barrelers.

Why not come and actually make this a fair event? maybe have the GM place it and make a lottery....or how about whoever places has to actually talk to the GM, if he doesnt the GM deletes the plot...

Suggestions? Thoughts?

I would assume its on Pacific since thats the only shard forum you post on. Just an assumption

Might happen on a game that the gm's or whoever cared but I think you are outta luck with UO buddy!

Good luck, large house in luna fell on atlantic two weeks ago.

barrel placing scripts ruled, and now you can still have a chance at this house.

This game was plagued with bugs 10 years ago, the worste ever. But it was an innovative game. I have played dozens of games since. Just three months ago (after 10 years) I gave UO another try.

It still has tons of bugs (much less damaging though) and cheaters galore.

My time here is short. But atm, I am getting my 15 bucks worth.

I would advise you do this. I am assuming this is not a Luna house and thus is not going to render the uber leet rl dollars someone we all know uses to support himself in rl (since one of his croonies already posted in this post) the main thing then is the loot.

If you want to try and least retain some of these items or at least try and make sure the uberleet dewds dont get everything and then scuttle off to ATL with them all to make that uber leet maximum value gold off them to then sell that off to support themselves in RL I would make it puplic the more people there the less chance they have of getting everything. Since because of there uberreffic (timing of ineffinent pitchers and even more stunning removal of pitchers all within a second appart) there is no chance for you to get the spot. But there is a chance to at least get the items so I would make it puplic to everyone.

This is a pick youre posion situation and what youre wishing for (which is the ideal) is not going to happen so you have to take matters into youre own hands and stiffle them as much as you can without the gms helping because they wont cant and dont.

If you keep it to yourself there is more of a chance they just (easily) stand next to the uberest items and you wont see them when the house collapses and you will have to go to atl in hopes of getting any of them back. Unless they know how much they mean to someone and they will use that information against you and try and charge you more then they could get on ATL for them.

People choose which client they want based on their graphics preference. Preference shouldn't warrant exclusion simply because one client does not block as well as another.

But don't take this wrong, I'm behind you 100% on something needing to be done - I am guessing the same person will get it that got the one two/three doors down last month. What an ugly day that was and I truly hope they are investigated as well. To me they are just as dirty as the one who bit the dust today.

A good solution may be to simply boot anyone walking around with a pot of dirt in Luna. lol!

There is nothing preventing Scripting in KR.

That does not stop scripting houses, they will simply drop down the plot the momment the timer is up. The only way to deal with scripters is to ban them from the game, while yesterday's actions are welcomed it is a very small, it comes after years and years of allowing scripters to have free reign in UO. Perhaps as more people are banned in such a public way players will lose the feel thats scripting is tolerated within uo.

that is true...the idea of them not only wiping your one account but all your accounts for breakage of the rules was a huge reminder always in the back of your mind when I first started out in 98. Kinda the same idea with dealing with the nastier high school students...make the punishments so undesirable, it's not worth the risk.
